How does this LSY Wellness Travel works?

As authorities in wellness travel, we curate experiences that are tailored to the trip you had in mind, with yoga, wellness, and sports. We will set you up in one of our wellness travel specialists and work with you so that this can be the trip you always dreamed of.

What is included in the price and what is not? 

Varies per retreat and trip, but usually the price includes accommodations, yoga twice a day, meditation once a day, most or all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner unless otherwise noted) and access to a beautiful beach front location. Some retreats and trips such as in Sayulita, Barbados and Nicaragua also include surfing instruction and board rental in the price.   Airfare tickets are not included in the price.  

How will I pay for the trip? 

A non- refundable deposit is required to hold your spot, which goes towards your balance.  After securing your spot, you may pay in installments as needed.  The entire balance is due one month before the retreat.  Refunds are no longer available 30 days prior to the trip but we do work with insurance companies to make sure you can change the trip at little or no cost to you. 

Can I come alone?

Trips are curated for solo travelers, family, or retreats. 

What will the yoga and meditation be like?

Love Surf Yoga seeks out the best of teachers around so do expect to deepen your yoga practice. Each week will include a nice mix of vinyasa, alignment, therapeutics and restorative.  The week usually starts with challenging vinyasa classes as we warm into our new tropical space, and we transform into a vinyasa/yin/restorative blend as we get a more tired from surfing and doing other activities. All the carefully planned classes will have a philosophical theme for the week, and there is at least one 30 minute meditation a day.  

What will the surfing be like?

Every break is different, and every day is different, so expect to be on your toes the entire week! All the locations we choose are beginner breaks, so they are friendly, smaller waves, but there has been times that we get a huge swell out of nowhere!  The surf instructors will guide you through the ins and outs of these breaks for all the surf instruction is always provided by a local surf school and our handpicked guides.
