About La Saladita
La Saladita is a mellow and secluded village on the Pacific coast of Guerrero, Mexico. Its long, crescent-shaped beach is wonderful for walking and relaxing on the white sand.
In this sleepy surf village you can walk most anywhere barefoot, and besides surfing there's not much to do but relax and swing in a hammock. There's a very small community of locals and expats who call Saladita home, and there's a continual flow of visitors that return year after year to Saladita for its consistent year round surf. There are a handful of beachfront restaurants, most shut by dark with the exception of Lourdes' Bar & Grill which is open until 9:30pm. The latter accepts credit cards, while most of the village only accepts cash.
Getting to La Saladita
Airport is ZIH- Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo Airport. You will most likely need to make a connection in Mexico City. There will be a group shuttle for both arrival and departure.
